Randall Flinn Founder/Artistic Director of Ad Deum
Mr. Flinn began his own dance training in Houston over twenty
five years ago with Glenn Hunsucker, Camille Long Hill, Dina Vail and Patsy Swayze. His most recent modern dance influences
have come from studies with The Limon Company and Steve Rooks, former principal dancer with Martha Graham. He has taught and
choreographed locally as a guest artist for the Houston Ballet Academy, The Episcopal High School, Houston Met Dance Company,
Joan Karff Dance Company, The High School for Performing Arts and North Harris Performing Arts Dance Company. He was selected
as a guest choreographer for Houston's Dance Salad 1999, Dance Houston 2006 and Texas Weekend of Contemporary Dance
2007. Nationally, he has served as guest faculty and choreographer for Cirque Du Soleil-Alegria, Ballet Magnificat, Belhaven
College, Friends University, Project Dance NYC, LA, and Sydney, Australia, Hillsong, Australia, and Dance Revolution Conventions.
Having lived throughout Europe and Asia for ten years, Mr. Flinn has also been a guest artist for Hong Kong Ballet, City Contemporary
– Hong Kong, Guanzhou Modern Dance Company – China, Xaris Danz Europe and Youth With a Mission International Schools
of the Arts.

Dawn Dippel Guest Artist
Born in Wichita Falls, TX, Dawn has been dancing most of her
life, and is now part owner of the successful dance school, North Harris Performing Arts in the Woodlands, TX. She has worked
with Wes Veldink and Mia Michaels from New York, Yung Woo from Korea, Malaya, & Dee Caspary all from L.A. Locally, Dawn
trained with Laura Ziegelbauer, Priscilla Murphy, Fred Strobel, Barbara Bears, Damian Schwiethale, Randall Flinn, and Naomi
Glass. The year, she is one of the co-directors, choreographers, and members of NHPA ®’s recently founded professional
company – Revolve Dance Company.

Amy Cain Guest Artist
Born in Jacksonville, FL, Amy’s 20 years of dance training
include working with Wes Veldink, director of The Wes Veldink Movement in New York; Fred Strobel, Barbara Bears, Naiomi Glass,
Caleb Mitchell, and Damien Schwiethale of Houston Ballet; Randall Flinn and Laura Ziegelbauer of Dance Ad Deaum; numberous
others from L.A. and N.Y.; and most importantly Ken McCulloch, who has been Amy’s private dance coach and source of
inspiration throughout her entire career. Amy is in her twelfth year as a partner in direction NHPA®, home of the NHPA®
Dance Company and the newly founded professional company Revolve Dance Company.

Shizu Yasuda
Shizu is originaly from Japan,
where she started her dance training with Sakiko Ichinomiya Ballet school. In NYC she worked with choreographers
such as Slam, Brayon Davis, and Henning Rübsam. Shizu auditioned for Ad Deum during Project Dance NYC 2004
and moved to Houston TX to work with the company. This is her 4th season with Ad Deum. She is also a faculty member of The
Dance Factory and Dance of Asian America, as well as for Ad Deum's trainee program in Houston.

Lydia Polhemus
Lydia Polhemus graduated
Magna Cum Laude in 2006 from Southern Methodist University with a BFA in Dance and BA in English. She was named a recipient
of the Meadows School of the Arts Artistic Merit Award. While at SMU she studied primarily Graham Technique and ballet. She
spent her summers at the Taylor School, the Limon Institute, the Graham School and at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts.
Before SMU, Lydia’s early dance training began in California at Marin Ballet. Lydia joined Ad Deum as a trainee in January
2007 and is delighted to be an apprentice with the company.

Jill Tarpey
Jill
Tarpey began her pre-professional training at the Turning Point Dance Center with Visions Dance Troupe in San Antonio. She
competed and performed for several season and then went on to pursue her career at SUNY Purchase Dance Conservatory in New
York. At Purchase, she had the opportunity to concentrate on the Graham modern technique, perform lead roles with the Purchase
Dance Corp, as well as study and perform under the Jackie Buglisi Dance Company. Since returning back to San Antonio, Jill
has become Company Manager and member of San Antonio Jazz Ensemble and is on faculty at Ballet San Antonio Academy. Jill has
a BA in American Studies and is a certified fitness instructor in Nia, Yoga, Stott Pilates, active older adult classes and
Cycling. Jill auditioned for Ad Deum during Project Dance NYC 2007.

Shelley Walker
Shelley Walker is delighted to be an apprentice with Ad Deum Dance Company. She trained
with the Northwest Florida Ballet 11 years, and went on to graduate with her BFA in Dance from Florida State University. She
attended summer programs at Orlando Ballet, Virginia School of the Arts, and San Francisco Conservatory. Shelley is a certified
Pilates instructor for both mat and Reformer. Zephaniah 3:17

Bethany Rae Brantley is
originally from College Station, Texas. She moved to Houston when she was fifteen to join the trainee program of Ad Deum.
Prior to moving to Houston, she trained with Suzanne's School of Dance, performed with Company Abundance, and was the
senior scholarship recipient of Dance Revolution's Dallas tour in 2002. She is now in her 4th season with Ad Deum and
also serves on faculty for West University Dance Center and Suzanne's School of Dance. She recently returned from a tour
to Holland and South Africa choreographing for The Kings Kids International.

Caleb Mitchell Guest
Choreographer
Caleb
is a native of Detroit, Michigan. After eight years of competing as a gymnast under the U.S.G.F, he started
seriously training in ballet at the age of sixteen under Rose Marie Floyd. He graduated cum laude received
and his B.F.A. dance emphasis from the University of Arizona. Shortly then after, he joined the prestigious
Houston Ballet under Ben Stevenson-emeritus; Stanton Welch, artistic director.
During his career at the Houston Ballet, he has danced works by Ben Stevenson, George Balanchine, William Forsythe,
Glen Tetley, Ronald Hynd, Christopher Bruce, Paul Taylor, James Kuldelka, Lila York, Natalie Weir, Julia Adams, and Stanton
Welch. Caleb has served as guest teacher for schools, companies, and festivals across the country. He
has also choreographed works on dancers from the Houston Ballet, Houston Ballet II, Ad Deum Dance Company, Neos Dance Theater,
Masterworks Festival, and The Link School of the Arts.
