 Randall Flinn
 Founder/Artistic Director of Ad Deum

Mr. Flinn began his own dance training in Houston over twenty five years ago with Glenn Hunsucker, Camille Long Hill, Dina Vail and Patsy Swayze. His most recent modern dance influences have come from studies with The Limon Company and Steve Rooks, former principal dancer with Martha Graham. He has taught and choreographed locally as a guest artist for the Houston Ballet Academy, The Episcopal High School, Houston Met Dance Company, Joan Karff Dance Company, The High School for Performing Arts and North Harris Performing Arts Dance Company. He was selected as a guest choreographer for Houston's Dance Salad 1999, Dance Houston 2006 and Texas Weekend of Contemporary Dance 2007. Nationally, he has served as guest faculty and choreographer for Cirque Du Soleil-Alegria, Ballet Magnificat, Belhaven College, Friends University, Project Dance NYC, LA, and Sydney, Australia, Hillsong, Australia, and Dance Revolution Conventions. Having lived throughout Europe and Asia for ten years, Mr. Flinn has also been a guest artist for Hong Kong Ballet, City Contemporary – Hong Kong, Guanzhou Modern Dance Company – China, Xaris Danz Europe and Youth With a Mission International Schools of the Arts.

 Shizu Yasuda

Shizu is originaly from Japan, where she started her dance training with Sakiko Ichinomiya Ballet school.  In NYC she  worked with  choreographers such as Slam, Brayon Davis, and Henning Rübsam.  Shizu auditioned for Ad Deum during Project Dance NYC 2004 and moved to Houston TX to work with the company. This is her 4th season with Ad Deum. She is also a faculty member of The Dance Factory and Dance of Asian America, as well as for Ad Deum's trainee program in Houston.

Bethany Brantley

 Bethany Brantley

Bethany Brantley was born in College Station, TX.  She grew up dancing at Suzanne's School of Dance and danced with Company Abundance under the direction of Suzanne Moreau.  In 2004, Bethany moved to Houston to train with Ad Deum Dance Company.  January of 2008, she had the opportunity to do a dance exchange with Spring's Dance Company in London.  Doors also opened for her to travel and teach in The Netherlands with King's Kids and South Africa with Dunamis International Family Church.  Bethany is so blessed to be back with Ad Deum for her fifth season.

Ester van Baren

 Ester van Baren 

Esther van Baren was born and raised in Perth, Australia.  She graduated from the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts in Perth and moved to Sydney, Australia for two years dancing with Charisma Dance Company and freelance dancing in both Sydney and Perth.  She is very excited to have recently moved to Houston, Texas to be part of Ad Deum Dance Company.

Daniel Cossette

 Daniel Cossette 
 Guest Artist 

Daniel Cossette is a graduate of Living Waters Bible College School of Ministering Arts and Mimeistry International, achieving the distinctive title of Performance Journeyman. He toured nationally and internationally with Mimeistry for two years, teaching and performing before founding Ambassador, based out of Manchester, CT.  He continues to teach and perform as a soloist and choreographer, working with names like First Night Hartford, Project Dance New York, the Big E and others, as well as dancing as a guest artist for the modern dance company Ad Deum in Houston, Texas.  A smattering of jazz, modern, ballet, tae kwon do, and karate also make their way into his shows.

Alvin Rangel

 Alvin Rangel
 Guest Artist 

Mr. Rangel has trained extensively in ballet, modern, yoga, fitness and jazz for over fifteen years.  Alvin has danced professionally with Dayton Contemporary Dance Company for 7 years.  With DCDC he had the opportunity to work with many important choreographers in modern dance, to name a few the list includes:  Doug Verone, Dwight Rhoden, Bibi Miller, Ronald K. Brown, Donald McKayle, Bill T. Jones, Kevin Ward. Recently he has danced, choreographed and taught for Andanza (Contemporary Dance Company of Puerto Rico) for two years in his native Puerto Rico.

As a guest artist he has performed with various modern and ballet dance companies throughout the United States and Puerto Rico.  Other of his experiences include teaching extensively in the USA, Puerto Rico, Poland and Russia. Locally, he works at Houston Academy of Dance and West University Dance Center, and collaborates with Ad Deum as a guest dancer.  During the day Mr. Rangel works as a school teacher in the Cypress-Fairbanks ISD.

 Caleb Mitchell
 Guest Choreographer

Caleb is a native of Detroit, Michigan.  After eight years of competing as a gymnast under the U.S.G.F, he started seriously training in ballet at the age of sixteen under Rose Marie Floyd.  He graduated cum laude received and his B.F.A. dance emphasis from the University of Arizona.  Shortly then after, he joined the prestigious Houston Ballet under Ben Stevenson-emeritus; Stanton Welch, artistic director. 
During his career at the Houston Ballet, he has danced works by Ben Stevenson, George Balanchine, William Forsythe, Glen Tetley, Ronald Hynd, Christopher Bruce, Paul Taylor, James Kuldelka, Lila York, Natalie Weir, Julia Adams, and Stanton Welch.  Caleb has served as guest teacher for schools, companies, and festivals across the country.
He has also choreographed works on dancers from the Houston Ballet, Houston Ballet II, Ad Deum Dance Company, Neos Dance Theater,  Masterworks Festival, and The Link School of the Arts.
