Ad Deum Alumni Dancers It has been a long and worthy journey (since 1991) in our work of establishing
Ad Deum as a professional dance company with a home-base and ongoing training, performances
and touring. I want to honor and applaud all the dancers listed below that have passed this way and left a lasting impression
of their lives, passions, faith and artistry. You will not be forgotten! I will remember you! -Randall Flinn

My time at Ad Deum will remain with me the rest of my dance career.
I was so blessed to dance everyday and work with some of the best choreographers and teachers. To be involved
in work that really says something and touches people's lives meant so much to me. I am thankful for the
time God allowed me to be there, and I hope that Ad Deum continues to bless dancers as well as audience members all over
the world.

Randall is a very gifted and
talented choreographer and teacher. My time spent with Ad Deum was extremely beneficial in setting a
standard of excellence in technique. And, consistently challenges me to improve on choreography.

Ad Deum helped to pave
a road in continuing a pursuit of dancing for the Lord and teaching others. How they too can worship through the
gift of dance. The relationships I made there are relationships For Eternity.

Ad Deum has a unique vision and mission that makes it stand out from the rest. A
lighthouse shining into a sea of artists who have forgotten why and for whom they were created to move.
My
years with Ad Deum were filled with friendships, incredible opportunities, and experiencing God in new and exciting ways.
I was blessed to have been a part of this family.

While at Ad Deum we learned to release our dance to the Lord and allow Him to direct
our steps not just in the dance room but in our spiritual lives as well. Learning to stop striving in the our flesh and relax
in the Lord's hand has opened many doors. Being at Ad Deum introduced us into a network of Christian leaders within the
dance world has given us many opportunities including bringing Project Dance to Atlanta in '07 and '08.

I am honored to have worked with the amazing dancers, teachers, and choreographers
that are the community of Ad Deum!
I grew tremendously in dancing, but also in understanding of life, friendship,
and grace.

I am living with my husband, Scott, in Charlotte,
NC. We bought our first house and are enjoying fixing it up and updating it. I was able to barefoot yet another summer. I competed in the barefoot nationals and won my 9th overall open woman's
title. I recently got a job with a chiropractor working as a chiropractic assistant.
|
Ad Deum taught me how to dance for the Lord rather than myself.
I grew not only as a dancer but as a person and woman of God.

God resides where He is invited, God moves where self is continuously laid down,
God dances where all is risked for His sake!"
God is gracious to shape us in His Hands, grow us through
his pruning and release us in His timing.
Ad Deum can become an environment of preparation and transformation
for anyone willing to let God be God.
Thanks for the opportunity!

My seasons with Ad Deum were incredible.
God allowed me to do 2 of my favorite things, dance and missions (using dance as the ministry and traveling) during a time
when I could give it my all. There is a special blessing found in Ad Deum, and one inevitably learns so much more than
just DANCE, no matter how long or short one's season is there.

Currently I am directing and teaching at the Laurel Ballet Academy in Laurel , MS and occasionally performing with the Pine Belt Ballet Company. This year I have been blessed to have found
the House of Prayer in Hattiesburg (HOP-Hb) and am enjoying spending my free time there when I am
not at home playing with my 2 kitties Goshen and Leo!
|
Dancing with Ad Deum began a move of God in my life to free
me up from my own failures and to learn to embrace the love of God in my life and to realize that God sees me as beautiful
and wants me despite my imperfections. I learned so much technically from Randall about how to release my body into choreography
and how to dynamically present my dancing in the most expressive way possible. I will always be grateful for the opportunities
that I experienced at Ad Deum and appreciate their faithfulness in the pursuit of both spiritual depth and artistic excellence.

I would not be the person I am today without the love and friends I have because of Ad Deum. I thank the
Lord daily for my time there!

When I met Randall in the fall of 1992, I was a recent dance graduate
of SMU in Dallas. I was considering giving up dance as a career because I did
not believe I could dance and glorify God at the same time. God, the Master Creator, had already prepared a place for
me in this young company, pioneering its way around the world to change WHY people danced.
D.A.D. was
the most significant time in my life as an artist, as a Christian. I danced like I had never worshipped before.

After my time at Ad Deum I spent an entire
summer at Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival working on the managing staff in the operation's department. Since then
I've been working full-time for The Ailey School in New York City with my passion for office administration. I will
also be performing with project-based dance companies in the area to live out my passion for dance and performance.
