Join us July 15th-20th, 2012 for a unique dance gathering, offering excellence in dance training and a place for spiritual growth at Palm Beach Atlantic University, in beautiful West Palm Beach, FL. Dancers will have opportunity to train under professionals from both Ad Deum Dance Company and the PBA dance faculty. Ad Deum is comprised of dance artists that have come to Houston from around the world. They have toured the USA, Europe and Asia, receiving outstanding reviews while performing the works of many amazing choreographers such as Steve Rooks (Martha Graham), Caleb Mitchell (Houston Ballet) Hope Boykin (Alvin Ailey), Bill Wade (Inlet Dance Theatre) and Stephen Wynne (Talk Dance Co.). General Information Ballet and Modern are the required daily dance majors along with an array of free choice electives. Your technical level for ballet and modern will be determined by the faculty during the Monday placement classes. If you miss the Monday classes, your first classes of the week will be utilized for placement. Technical levels will be divided into 2 groups: Beginner/Low Intermediate, and High Intermediate/Advanced/Pro classes. Electives include Jazz, Pointe, Variations, Ad Deum Repertoire, Mime, Worship Dance, Art Talks! Auditions for Ad Deum and its various programs are held on Thursday, July 19th. Bring headshot, dance photo and dance resumé. Dance combinations in ballet and modern will be given during this time. You will not be able to check into your dorms until after 2pm.  For those paying full tuition - dinner would be provided on Sunday evening in Campus Cafeteria. Registration and Tuition Information  Full Tuition is all inclusive: Along with all dance classes, Palm Beach Atlantic University will provide dormitory style suites for all participants, as well as three meals a day. Students registering before May 15th receive the early bird discount of $700. All full inclusive tuition registrations after May 15th will be $750. Class tuition only for those wishing to commute and not stay on campus is $375 for early bird discount and $425 after May 15th. Those wishing to commute or stay elsewhere can purchase individual meals on campus if they would chose for breakfast, lunch and dinner.  After receiving your online or by mail payment you will receive a confirmation e-mail. Age Requirements: 14 –adult Class Dress Code Everyone will need a pair of ballet and jazz shoes. Tap or pointe shoes are needed for those selecting these electives. Females: Modestly designed leotards and tights are acceptable for all dance classes. Coverings such as T-shirts and shorts are permitted, though various instructors may have certain preferences. Men: T-shirts, black tights or jazz/sweat pants. No shorts to be worn in dance class.
