The Ad Deum II –second company apprentice program provides an excellent opportunity to learn from our well seasoned experience as a professional dance company. Our program is focused on mentoring and equipping the dance artist to serve God and mankind in preparation and pursuit of their unique calling. We are a community of artists, connected by our Christian faith, discovering and journeying together in the path of servant-artistry. We are committed to excellence in our art form and believe in hard work, creative pursuit, passion and prayer. Being a part of Ad Deum II is being a part of God’s work in the heart of the artist and His work in and through the arts.

Ad Deum II Apprentices train with Ad Deum II and also with the main company and are given opportunities to perform with both companies.

Ad Deum II will be involved in both educational and community performance outreaches as a part of our mission to bring dance into the community that offers hope and healing.

The program consists of the following with an emphasis on Contemporary/Modern dance, Ballet, Jazz, Musical Theatre, Lyrical, Pilates, Physical Conditioning, Choreography, Repertoire, Improvisation, and Academic Studies of A Biblical Worldview of the Arts, Performance Opportunities and Outreach.

Who may be selected for our program?

The program is suitable for dancers over 17 years old who have a high intermediate to advanced level of dance experience, particularly in ballet and modern dance. Our program offers a strong foundation for anyone wanting to pursue a professional dance career or to use their talents effectively and with excellence in the church, missions or culture. The Ad Deum II Apprentice Program is also a precursor towards ongoing professional placement in Ad Deum Dance Company.

Length of Program / Schedule:

The program runs for 9 months, from early September thru end of May, Monday – Thursday from 8:30a.m. to 2p.m. There is a 2 1/2 week Christmas break and a one week spring break.

Tuition & Scholarships:

The total cost of the nine month Trainee Program is $3,150.00 payable in installments of $350 per month. A discount of $150 is full tuition is paid in one payment.
